Round Convex Indoor or - ( MILD WEATHER) Oudoor Use - The mirrors on this page are ideal for any indoor or applications where they are subjected to occasional windy weather. They are ideal for mounting close to buildings under awnings, at bank drive-through, or in parking garages etc. All the mild weather mirrors are waterproof, so occasional rain will not cause damage to the mirror backing. Generally the ABS backed mirrors are better in consistently wet conditions but all outdoor mirrors withstand water. For more indepth information, click on the above link.

1) Weatherproof ABS (PLASTIC) Backing - The ABS backed mirror has a weatherproof plastic back. The plastic back adds strength to the mirror and is not affected by water.

The picture on the right is of the 12" ABS (Plastic) backed mirror. (click on the picture for a larger view) NOTE: The 30" and larger mirrors have double swivel mounts seen in the far right picture. The 12" and 18" have the single mounts. Double mounts are great for mounting the mirror from an overhead location.

The 26" and larger mirrors have two swivel mounts to support the heavier mirrors. The double mounts are great for attaching the mirror from an overhead location on holding it out perpendicular to a wall.

	---- ABS PLASTIC BACK with SEALED RUBBER RIM - ACRYLIC LENS - STEEL SWIVEL----
	The ABS plastic backed mirrors can be used indoors or outdoors. There is a thick rubber seal rim around the lens for additional strength and edge protection. The rim provides more strength for holding the lens to the back along with protection from something hitting the edge of the mirror. ABS is waterproof and the lens is sealed to the back so water is not an issue. The Swivel on the back is all steel making it stronger than the plastic swivel mounts. These mirrors can be used in most outdoor environments with exception of the 26" and larger sizes in extreme winds or extreme cold with wind. The 26" and larger mirrors have the double swivel mounting arrangement to better hold the heavier mirror. NOTE: Using the double mounts on posts where there is only one single spot to attach the mirror can be confusing. Consider the single centered mounted mirrors (above) for those situations. 2) Weatherproof Hardboard Backing - The painted or "coated" hardboard back is weatherproof and has the black Trim-loc rubber rim seal around the mirror. The hardboard back adds strength to the mirror and is not affected by cold weather. The rubber seal around the lens and back, give it a nice finished look and provides edge protection. The 12" and 18" mirrors have a single centered mount with a wall mounting bracket. The 26" and larger mirrors have a double mount arrangement (See the above illustration below on the right.)

The picture to your left shows the double mounting configuration for the 26", 30", 36" and 48" mirrors. The double mounts are great for mounting the mirror from an overhead location.

	---- Painted HARDBOARD BACK - TRIM-LOC RUBBER RIM SEAL ----
	ACRYLIC Mirror - The Painted Hardboard back is a thick moisture-proof paint rolled onto the hardboard back. The Trim-Loc rim is then placed around the rim of the mirror for a better seal against the elements. These mirrors work well for most mild weather outside conditions. If the mirror is exposed to strong winds, snow and ice, or along a street or highway then please consider using the "Steel Backed" mirrors (Sever Weather). (Assembled in USA)

	---- GLASS Mirrors - INDOOR/OUTDOOR USE - COATED HARDBOARD BACK ----
	GLASS Mirrors - Indoor/Outdoor Use - Coated Hardboard Back - The Glass mirror has great reflection properties and are very dificult to scratch. They can be cleaned with any glass cleaner and a paper towel without being scratched. The down-side to glass is that it can be broken more easily than acrylic. When broken, the pieces are sharp and can cut. If the mirror is going to be placed in a public location, or their is a risk of it being hit, please consider the acrylic mirrors. (Assembled in USA)

	Shatter Resistant GLASS Mirrors - Has the same backing and mounting as the above mirrors. NOTE: The back of the glass mirror has an extremely sticky plastic film that will hold the glass together if broken. This will reduce the chance of an injury from falling glass if broken. Shatter Resistant does not mean that the mirror is more difficult to break. (Assembled in USA)
